About
Really? You wanna know about me? Are you sure? ::inhales:: Okay, you asked for it. :)
I am a senior in college who loves to write. I enjoy snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve spent time in South America and Europe working with young adults and teens, as well as snowboarding the Alps. I’ve been to 9 different countries in the past 4 years and loved every moment of it. I enjoy exploring new things and will try anything once…which is why I have so many embarrassing stories to tell.
I love music and will listen to practically anything. My moods change, so asking me what my favorite band is doesn’t work. It changes continuously. Right now I’d say it is probably a tie between Paramore and Aerosmith.
I sponsor a girl that I met while in Ecuador on a three month internship as a youth pastor. You can see her to the left. If you are interested in sponsoring a child from Ecuador or anywhere else, you can visit the Children of Promise website.
I love to snowboard. I’ve been at it for 4 years now, and I’m proud to say I haven’t had a concussion in 3 years. I have successfully taught three others how to snowboard after a fateful incident my brother incurred. An hour after arriving, he broke his arm. True to the Curd name, though, he stuck with the sport. He and I enjoy snowboarding every winter now.
Speaking of which, my brother is one of my best friends ever. He’s a great guy. Sorry ladies, he’s taken. My sister-in-law is a great friend of mine and my nephew, Jason, rocks my world. My family is great and love every one of them.
I have loved reading since I was old enough to have a book in my hands. Some of my favorite authors are J.K. Rowling, Dan Brown, Stephenie Meyer, and Rick Riordan.
You can find me on Twitter, Facebook, here, or your nearest couch. Hope you enjoy your stay, and please, leave a comment! I love meeting new people. :)
